English from Scratch
Have you decided to learn English?
Without a doubt, you've made the right choice, as English is the primary language of international communication.
Chances are, you’ve already encountered the biggest challenge when learning English — the overwhelming number of textbooks and courses available on the market. Most of them are a waste of time and money. And if you add self-study with little to no initial knowledge of the language, it can quickly leave you feeling stuck and demotivated. But motivation is key to successfully mastering any foreign language.
So, what does Polylingo offer you for successfully learning English from scratch?
First and foremost, specifically for beginners and exclusively on this platform, I have created my own course: "Correct English". This course is designed for anyone who is ready to take the initiative. Whether you’re 4 years old and already know how to read, or you’re an adult beginner, this course is for you!
The course is unique because it gradually guides you from the very beginning, with absolutely no knowledge of the language, all the way to an intermediate level. By the end, you will be familiar with key grammar topics, know over 2,000 important words, understand long dialogues, write diverse sentences, and, of course, speak confidently. That’s why the course is called "Correct English" — it covers all the essential aspects for independent language learning.
The audio recordings are of high quality and feature professional voice actors (since they are taken from video games, but you will get to those later…). The exercises are simple to complete, with text input forms and answer keys with translations available. To view the answer, hover your mouse over the key: Key. You should only look at the answers after fully completing the exercise! If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in the comments section below each lesson.
Please remember: don’t rush through the lessons! Only move on to the next lesson when you are sure that you have fully understood the material in the current one.
